Prior to Real-Time Designer 6.4, HTML elements were created in a different branch and were handled by the Internet Explorer (IE) Connector. From Real-Time Designer 6.4 and up, the HTML elements are created directly in the Siebel view, which improves performance and facilitates user access to Siebel HTML elements.
Using the Siebel Connector, it is possible to capture the following Siebel elements:
Siebel HTML table, and everything included in the table
Function buttons in the Siebel interface
HTML elements that are outside the Siebel window
This makes for a much faster process of capturing Siebel components than was previously possible with the IE connector.
